This is a standard that I make in our house at least once a week!
Ingredients
- 1 tomato
- 2 thin slices of red onion, diced
- cilantro, chopped
- avocado, diced
- salt
- Lime juice from 1 to 2 limes, squeezed
- jalapeno, optional
- Tapatio or Sriracha sauce, to taste (I like about 2 to 3 drops, Mark like at least 1 tsp!)
Steps
- Combine all ingredients.
- Serve over chimichanga or with chips.
Notes
- If you have leftovers, cover with saran wrap pressed down tightly to adhere to the avocado to prevent browning
