 Daniel 1:17 

To these four young men God gave knowledge

and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. 

And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds. 


Daniel 2:17-18 

Then Daniel went home and told his friends Hananiah, 

Mishael, and Azariah what had happened. 

He told them to pray to the God of heaven for mercy 

and to ask him to explain the mystery to them so that 

they would not be killed along with the other 

advisers in Babylon.  


Mark 2:3-5

Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, 

carried by four of them. Since they could not get him 

to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening 

in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then 

lowered the mat the man was lying on. 

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, 

“Son, your sins are forgiven.”


Proverbs 27:17  

As iron sharpens iron, 

    so one person sharpens another.
